Today we have been looking at how Jewish people celebrate Rosh Hashanah. During the celebration, Jews eat apples dipped in honey. They do this to symbolise hopes for a "sweet" new year. The apple is dipped in honey, the blessing for eating tree fruits is said, the apple is tasted, and then the apples and honey prayer is said.
Some of us thought this was delicious. However, some of us thought that this was far too sweet!
L'Shana Tova! - May the New Year bring you Hope, Peace and Joy.
