SHARES Lancashire is a leading cluster of primary schools in West Lancashire. The cluster contains 24 primary schools, including faith, community, special and free schools that have formed and operated through a not-for-profit limited company since 2010. SHARES Lancashire also has a dedicated team of staff that work hard to ensure that a range of quality support services are on offer to member and non-member schools. Our services are flexible to meet demand and reflect the ever changing educational and social landscape.
The cluster of schools work together to support each school’s development, ensuring the best quality of education to all pupils that attend our schools. An annual programme of wide ranging CPD provides opportunities for school staff to stay at the forefront of excellent practice in education. We also provide school swimming, physical education, sporting, and non-sporting competitions for school children, as well as our highly successful pupil parliament. In recent years we have led on the planning and delivery of the Holiday Activities and Food programme in West Lancashire, ensuring that high quality provision and food for children in receipt of free school meals, or identified as needing extra support, is delivered locally and is accessible.
Shares Lancashire also delivers an array of family learning opportunities across the borough, promoting strong family units, the development of skills and pathways to further learning. Holiday activity programmes accessible for all are also provided in the majority of school holidays, providing aspirational and inspirational activities for children when they are not at school.
This is just a sample of the work that SHARES Lancashire do for their school and wider communities. To find out more about SHARES Lancashire and our work, call: 01696 729897, email: info@shareslancashire.co.uk or view the website: https://shareslancashire.co.uk/
