At St. Edmund's Catholic Primary School, we recognise the importance of the Early Years in providing a good foundation for all other learning. Our curriculum has been designed taking into consideration the Religious Education Curriculum and Development Matters. The children are taught three topics per term which are related to the RE Curriculum topics. The topics are taught through a range of teaching strategies such as whole-class teaching, objective-led planning, group work and intensive intervention such as 'Little Wandle' and 'Welcomm'. It is our intention to ensure children moving through to Key Stage One are school ready.
