Our KS2 children created 'egg'cellent dioramas and our younger children wore fantastic Easter bonnets.
Here are a few photographs of all the things that go on at St Edmund’s that help us to think about our faith.
Our Key Stage 1 classes decorated hats to become their Easter Bonnets whilst our Key Stage 2 children used decorated eggs to create original dioramas. It was incredibly difficult to pick the winners, everyone worked so hard, so we all had a prize!
Here are some photos of our children during World Book Day...
Some snaps of the children enjoying their Christmas lunch. 15th December 2016.
Our Year 5 and 6 children (and the staff!) had a wonderful time at Dobroyd Castle at the end of September 2016.
Our wonderful year 6 class entertained us all with a fantastic pantomime - Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We laughed along with Sammy, Simon and Mrs Stringman, we were frightened by the evil Baron and we were confused by the characters from Star Wars!
We finally managed to hold our annual Sports Day between the showers. Everyone did their best and had a great time. Thanks to Mrs Maguire for all her organisation.

On Tuesday 22nd March 2016, our school joined with a number of other schools in West Lancs to attempt to break the record for the biggest game of heads, shoulders, knees and toes.
All the children and staff were involved in exciting Maths activities throughout the school. Everyone had a great time and really learnt that Maths can be lots of fun!
