Here are some wonderful pictures of the children as Romans with the shields they created. They tried some battle techniques of the Romans like the 'tortoise' formation to keep them safe from enemies. Some of the children showed their best angry Roman face and I certainly wouldn't want them running at me with those shields! Well done to all of year 3 for the fantastic effort and participation during Roman day today! And thank you to all of the parents for supporting us. The children have enjoyed themselves and worked fantastically all day. Definitely a day to remember!
