Today, we were trying to create an optical illusion of a 'stairway through our desks.' We did this by; drawing a square without a ruler, separating this into quarters, drawing diagonal lines through the smaller sections and joining them together with straight ones through the larger segments. We used a whiteboard/permanent marker to pen to colour in and create the shadow effect. We used pencil to shade the smaller sections of the stairs. After that, we marked the top left and middle right of the page and drew a line to both of them to create smaller shadows on the stairs.

We think they look extremely effective and hope you like them too!
