I'm a Shellebrity get me out of heeeeeere! The last couple weeks we have been making an egg diorama. It must be in by Fryday or you cannot eggter. They are all really great so far and we're sure the rest will be!

Today we made parachutes out of bin bags, paper clips and string. We were learning about 'Air Resistance.' Air Resistance is a force and we learned that it can be helpful and unhelpful depending on the situation. Air Resistance can fight gravity but gravity will win anyway.

Today we are celebrating Red nose day to raise money for children and people in need of things like clothes, water and food. We have written our  favourite three jokes and we tried to think how many words we could get out of 'Red Nose Day.`

Today we have been building circuits with bulbs and motors.

We think it is really fun! 

When the circuit is connected it is called a complete circuit.

Today we visited the home of Wigan Athletic FC and Wigan Warriors RLFC, The DW Stadium. This was our Class Curriculum trip and we were very lucky to be visiting here. 

We had a great time going around the stadium and we sat in the 'posh!' seats.

We have been looking at a book called The Shaman's Apprentice. It is good becasue it tells you all about the different plants that can be used as medicine in The Rainforest. I like to know about the different plants and flowers that can heal people.

Yesterday the Y5s completed their two week Orienteering course. They worked brilliantly well together in order to find their way around a map and used wonderful communication skills to complete some really difficult problems. Well Done Everyone!
