Today we made parachutes out of bin bags, paper clips and string. We were learning about 'Air Resistance.' Air Resistance is a force and we learned that it can be helpful and unhelpful depending on the situation. Air Resistance can fight gravity but gravity will win anyway.

Whilst the Year 5 children have been at Our Lady Queen of Peace High School, We have been looking at Aboriginal Artwork. We have been using a dotting, line, wave and crosshatch technique just like the artists would have done thousands of years ago! 

On Monday we looked at last year's music playlist from Sports Day. We have decided that we want to keep some of the music from the list but also want to add some new top quality tunes!

Over the weekend, it was lovely to be able to share a first Holy Communion with James, Daisy, Ruby, Amylee and Alicia. 

We all had a great time and we thank our families and our teachers who were able to share this special day with us.
