Year 4/5 Blog

Well we are a few weeks in to our Rocket Science experiment with our seeds from space. 

James and Ruby have taken charge of the measuring process to check the growth of our plants. We have been sent Rocket (Eruca Satvia) to grow from the European Space Agency.

Today, Kaitlyn and Harrsion opened our Delicious and Nutritious Smoothie Stall. We had our fresh fruit, our juice and our blenders ready to dazzle the tastebuds of the children in the juniors. We had some very positive feedback from the children, one said it was "beaaaauutiful!"

Today we have been learning about how to be safe on the internet.

We decided to 'Share a heart' which gives other people top tips about how to stay safe online. 

We really enjoyed today. It was Great!

Last week we all got to launch the rockets we had made in class with Mr. Howarth from the high school.

Kevin's rocket flew an amazing 61m and landed in the middle of our school field!

It was great fun!

Yesterday, BBC Radio Merseyside came to our school to interview me and some of the children from my class about my new book.

The children were wonderful and they were a delight to work with on the radio!

Hi I'm Ruby and I will be blogging for this class. I am really excited about blogging for the class.  In this class it is very fun. My favourite lesson is Art!!

Today we started a two lesson project with Mr. Howarth from Our Lady's all about Space. We made the centre and wings for a rocket that we will launch in lesson two!

Today we had a visit from some very special Astronauts! They even wanted to join in with our school work! 

Out of this world!! 

Today we have been building circuits with bulbs and motors.

We think it is really fun! 

When the circuit is connected it is called a complete circuit.
