On Tuesday 15th December our School Council visited Twinkle House to donate a cheque for their 'Sparkle Appeal'.
This year our School Council has decided to raise money for local causes. The children chose Twinkle House because they have helped many of our children and families. We have raised money from our school disco and by carol singing in Asda.
The whole school council met Jill Boardman, the chief executive, and she showed us round Twinkle House and explained how they support families living in Skelmersdale.
We gave Jill the cheque for £250 and promised that we would continue to raise money throughout this school year.
Jill was very pleased with our donation and gave us all a selection box of chocolates!
