On 25/1/18, we took a team of talented swimmers to the Wigan Life Centre to compete in this year's SHARES Swimming Gala. The children represented our school magnificently. They were fantastically well behaved and are a real credit to our school and their families. We had a number of children go through their heats and get into the final races which is a fantastic achievement. However, one of the children took it one step further...Alice performed brilliantly and managed to claim a silver medal for finishing second in the backstroke final!! Such a fantastic performance and it topped off a wonderful evening for the children and staff of St. Edmund's school. Mr Hennigan, Miss Dawson and I are immensely proud of all our swimmers and we love to share the successes of the children with the whole school.

Well Done Team!
