Today in Maths we were using Hundreds, Tens and Units counters. We were adding one ten and one hundred to different numbers.

Today we did cave art in class. We used pastels. We were learning about  the stone age.  Everyone did very well. The only colours we could use were black,brown and grey because we were pretending that it was on a cave wall.

Today we have been setting up a prank for the new yr3s,we made up a story about our teacher turning into an alien. We used an app called comic life to make our crazy story. We got into partners and made the story together.

Today we created a comic strip of the Alien that invaded year 3.We went on an app called string and made up a story about an alien that invaded two people in year 3. We really enjoyed making it and think everybody should try it out.

This week we have been investigating plants to see if they could survive with no leaves. We also have a plant with leaves. We water them 50 ml and keep them in the same spot to make it a fair test. We predict the one without leaves will try to grow more leaves or die.

Today we finished our pencil cases with Miss Gillies. We had lots of fun making them. She taught us how to sew and she told us how to make it neat. She let us pick our own pictures and thread we enjoyed it so much.
