Today we have made simple, compound and complex sentences. We thought of an example of each and had to guess who was the conjunction, noun and verb in each sentence. I was a narrator who told the whole sentence to the rest of the class. We stuck postit notes on each other. It was sooooo fun!

We made our model vehicles today. It was messy but lots of fun, we followed our designs very well and they turned out really well. We are looking forward to taking them home after the holiday when all the paint has dried!

We have been learning in our Come and See work about 'Gathering' we gathered together this morning for Ash Wednesday where we all received the ashes in a cross on our foreheads. This is a sign to show that we love Jesus and it is the start of Lent.

Today we have been learning about how to be safe on the internet.

We decided to 'Share a heart' which gives other people top tips about how to stay safe online.

Last week we all got to launch the rockets we had made in class with Mr. Howarth from the high school.

Kevin's rocket flew an amazing 61m and landed in the middle of our school field!

We made pancakes today as it is the day before the start of Lent. We enjoyed making them and we had them with lemon and sugar.

This afternoon we made a train, a rocket and a truck using the Bauplay construction set. We used diagrams and plans to make them. They turned out very well and we really enjoyed making them. Next week we are going to make our own vehicles.
