Today we have been looking at how rocks change over time. We were shaking bottles of water with rocks in to show weathering and erosion. Some of the pieces broke off.

This week we have been writing our stories based on the books by Simon Bartram, which we have been enjoying reading in class. The children have written some great stories about Bob, the man on the moon. Well done everyone in Year 2! 

We made Jemima Puddle Duck pizzas. We used muffins, cheese, tomato purée, ham, sweet corn and peppers.

We toasted the muffins then added the toppings and then placed them under the grill.

Hi I'm Ruby and I will be blogging for this class. I am really excited about blogging for the class.  In this class it is very fun. My favourite lesson is Art!!

Today we started a two lesson project with Mr. Howarth from Our Lady's all about Space. We made the centre and wings for a rocket that we will launch in lesson two!

Year 1 are learning about people who help us at Mass.  Mrs Cushion showed us how we set up the altar to celebrate Mass in our school.

Today we have been looking at pictures of cave art. We have used pastels to draw our own cave art. We  needed to concentrate and work hard. We spray painted our hand prints to show the work belonged to us. Here is my picture of a fox.
