We got to play on the adventure playground because we got 100% attendance last week which was our first week in Reception.

We made rainbow biscuits using sugar, flour, butter and M&M's. We enjoyed making the biscuits and they tasted yummy! We took them and shared them with our families.

From Year…

Yesterday we  started to make an ecosystem. We put water in the  bottom of a bottle with plants, a snail and gravel. Then we started to do the top of the ecosystem. We put soil, gravel and birdseed in the top. We are waiting for the grass to grow then we will add minibeasts.

On Thursday we had our circus skills day. We had a lot of fun learning to balance feathers, spin plates and juggle. The children all tried really hard and showed they were learning fast. On Friday wrote a recount of our day in English and everyone said how much they had enjoyed it. We said thank…

Today we visited the home of Wigan Athletic FC and Wigan Warriors RLFC, The DW Stadium. This was our Class Curriculum trip and we were very lucky to be visiting here. 

We had a great time going around the stadium and we sat in the 'posh!' seats.

Today we went to the hall to learn circus skills.

We had to make our hand like a spider to make the plate spin. We had to lay our hand straight to balance the feather and if it moved we had to move our hand in that direction. We threw the scarves up into the air and had to try and catch…

Everyone made soup, scouse or salad as part of our DT work. We made scouse and we loved making and eating it. We washed the vegetables, cut them up and boiled them in a pan.

Today we learnt how to do lots of different circus skills. This photo shows me spinning a plate on a stick. I had so much fun. My favourite was balancing the feather on my chin.

Last week we worked together to make our lovely class robot. One group made his head, another his body, another group his legs and one group made his bendy, purple arms. Then we put all the parts together. We have called our robot Stellar. We are very proud of him and think he looks great!

The Eco-Warrior club have planted lots of seeds and vegetables in our flowerbeds in the memorial garden. We have been picking our produce today "sugar snap peas." 

We will be eating them during our morning break tomorrow.
