Skeleton facts
This week we have been learning about the functions of a skeleton. We used a green screen to create these videos showing skeletons behind us, whilst we talk about the facts we know.

Gingerbread man
"Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread man."
We had fun today making our gingerbread men but we had to make sure they didn't jump out of the oven and run away.

The elf took our tree down
Today our elf took down our tree and decorations. He sat on the tree and knocked it down. He is very naughty and his name is Buddy. Yesterday he painted on our tables. We hope he is very sensible before Christmas.

Christmas party
This week we have also had our Christmas party! We played pass the parcel, musical chairs and had a dance. We all had a lovely time and can't wait for the Christmas holidays.

Talent show
All of the children did a fantastic job at the talent show. We had singers, dancers, skippers, joke tellers and poem recitals. Well done to all of the children who took part confidently and made us all very, very proud!

Reading Challenge
At the beginning of November, we were sent a reading challenge chart by the Premier League Primary Stars Programme. The children were challenged to read 100 times between them and today they achieved that magnificent task!!

Parody Poetry
This week we have been writing an alternative version of John Lennon's 'Imagine'
We tried to think of something that we could not live without and as a clas we decided it would be technology. We have recorded our version of the song and we hope that you enjoy it!!

Judaism-potato latkes
We have been finding out about the special food that Jewish people have during the celebration of Hanukkah. We talked about the ingredients and how they needed to be prepared. We then sat together at snack time to share them and talk about what they tasted like.
Harvest assembly
Last week we took part in a Harvest assembly.
We worked really hard to have loud, clear voices and to remember our lines. We learned all about the importance of sharing harvest to save the World.
All of the teachers and our parents/carers were very proud of us!
