This week we have been looking at art made from wire. We made our own flowers out of colourful wires to fit in with our garden theme this term. We tried hard to bend the wires and make them in to flower shapes. Ours were fantastic and had lots of detail.

This week we have been making smoothies in cookery club with all different fruits. They were tasty and sweet. It was fun. We used apples, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, oranges and orange juice. We put sparkly umbrellas in our drink.

Today we said goodbye to the butterflies that we have been caring for. We all held one of the butterflies on our hands before they flew away to lay their eggs so that there will be more butterflies.

Our first butterfly has emerged from the cocoon. We are very excited and have given it some special food.

This week, we were measuring 10cm onto a piece of wood and after that we had to use a saw to cut the wood. We had to design in our books which colours we would like. Mine will be red, white and blue (Lily-Rose) Mine will be blue and purple (Maisie)

I'm a Shellebrity get me out of heeeeeere! The last couple weeks we have been making an egg diorama. It must be in by Fryday or you cannot eggter. They are all really great so far and we're sure the rest will be!

Today we made parachutes out of bin bags, paper clips and string. We were learning about 'Air Resistance.' Air Resistance is a force and we learned that it can be helpful and unhelpful depending on the situation. Air Resistance can fight gravity but gravity will win anyway.

Today we have been taking part in Comic Relief's Red Nose Day. As a class we decided to show off some of the things we got up to during Red Nose Day in an attempt to share a smile!

Today we are celebrating Red nose day to raise money for children and people in need of things like clothes, water and food. We have written our  favourite three jokes and we tried to think how many words we could get out of 'Red Nose Day.`
