Vegetable drawings

Today in art we have drawn vegetables using different materials. We used  pencil, charcoal, graphite and pen. We looked at real vegetables to help with our drawings. We liked smudging the charcoal.

Lost at Sea Artwork

Yesterday, we used charcoal to create a picture of a boat lost at sea. As you can see some of us struggled to keep the charcoal onto the page!!

We enjoyed doing this artwork .But we didn`t  enjoy cleaning up!!!

Year 3 rocks

We have been learning about different rocks. We dropped rocks in a jug full of water and thought about whether they would sink or float. We learned that  rocks from volcanoes float in water. Their holes are filled with air. That is why volcano rocks float. Some rocks sink.
